turning over a new leaf

At Cimarrona, we are using the opportunity this strange time has brought us to make changes to our line and our approach. For the last 14 years our goal has been to reduce, recycle and reuse whenever possible in all of the work we create, and we have used predominantly post consumer textiles as the main body of our line. Playing it Safe

Twentytwenty has been a year that we can’t get to the end of soon enough. But before it closes we will have a small show- outdoors – masked and socially distant. This time of the year- in the past- I have celebrated with friends and family and enjoyed a busy Fall schedule of being at art shows with my art tribe. one stitch at a time

As 2019 came to a close I reflected, as many of us do- on what I accomplished during the year. The things said and done- and the things left unsaid, undone as well. More than once this year it has occurred to me that most of what I do is done stitch by stitch. Time measured in stitches.
