This weekend: Randy Brodnax and Friends
In a couple of days I will load up and head to The Sons of Hermann Hall in Dallas for my favorite show of the year. This show has recently been called on of the best holiday shopping events in the area by The Dallas Morning News, and CBS gave us a good plug as well. I love it because it is so much FUN! Randy will be doing raku firing out back, his kids are downstairs in the kitchen cooking up Louisiana style gumbo for guests and some of my favorite craftspeople will be there selling their handmade goodness. A Full Moon Fox
Sometimes it takes a while to complete a project. I started toying with the fox hat idea last year. This month I pulled out some of the pieces I’d cut out, and with a fresh set of eyes went about putting together the first round of fox hats. It may be a few more days (weeks) of tweaking the design before it is considered done, but here is the first peek at something new.
