Spring Has Sprung

Warm weather makes us all want to put the winter gear away, especially after a winter like the one we had. So here are a few cool items that I’m working on in the studio. These cuffs use some of my cashmere along tule, organza, silk, beads and buttons. Here are some on the cutting table, sliced up pizza style. I’m not much of a “girly girl” so I have to think of my little niece Kate to as I work on these sweet little blingy things. Here are some ponies, clips and headbands I made this week.

A few weeks ago I was set up at The Dallas Flea for a great sale over at South Side on Lamar. There, Terry Cohen happened by my booth and became attached to the hats I was making. She wanted them in her shop: Curiosities. So, the next week I trot on over to Abrams Rd. in the Lakewood area of Dallas to bring a selection of hats for her to carry.
