new hat

Sometimes when a style just is not working, modifications are in order. A nip here- a tuck there. So my Alpine style hat was being tweaked. This is the hat that you think of as a toboggin style hat. I had brought in the sides to make a skinnier version. What I had not done was to make the top fabric more flexible, because what good is having that style hat if it doesn’t give you a little bounce.
