At Cimarrona we are starting the New Year off by reworking the studio space. We- mostly me (Leslie) fill up the approximately 450 square foot space. I think I do a pretty good job making the space work for me, but right now its clean, rearrange, streamline and simplify time. In my previous life as an art teacher, hanging onto anything and everything was the word of the day- you never knew when “someone might need it for an art project”. Well, old habits die hard- but I am really trying. If you stop by the studio you are likely to walk out the door with some “gift”. I put that in quotes because it would likely just be something that I didn’t want to throw into the trash, and maybe you had some better use for it than I. Art teachers being my most willing victims in this case. One of my goals for 2012 is to blog more frequently and I just got the internet going over at the studio, making this all much easier. I’ll do my best to keep folks up to date with what is going on in the studio, and make sure that if there is anything you are looking for- you can find it in the web shop. So, eat some black eyed peas for good luck, write down your goals for good intention, and have a healthy and happy 2012.
