For the last four years I have had the good fortune to have my work space under the same roof as my Dad’s shop. In the space he provided me I was able to get Cimarrona up and off the ground. I had room for everything: sewing machines, sergers, felting machines, wool- lots of wool!, and all the other fibers…plus, all the other tools and materials that anyone with a life in the art classroom might have had. Needless to say, I had a lot of shtuff.  As Cimarrona grew- so did my need for space, and two weeks ago I signed the lease on a shop space that will triple the room I had before. With help from my husband, we spent three solid days moving. Another three days I spent figuring out where things would go, and now I have a space that is…well, spacious! I will post a slide s how here in the next few days so you can see the before, during and after transition to the new digs!!! And now- I am a mere two blocks from the historic North Texas State Fair and Rodeo grounds. Yeeee-haaaawwww!
